BMPILC Volunteer Attorney Corps

The Law Center manages a corps of volunteer attorneys to litigate, on its behalf, high impact social justice cases on a pro bono basis.

Volunteer attorneys for the Law Center include retired law firm or government attorneys or individual attorneys looking to expand their pro bono work. Serving as a volunteer attorney allows individuals to improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged persons and have a significant impact on social justice by using their legal expertise and experience.

Volunteer attorneys are responsible for all aspects of litigation including drafting pleadings, writing discovery, preparing summary judgment motions, and participating in trials and appeals.
